This is a world-first certified MGO-active harvest of Scholtzia involucrata, a native Western Australian flower with similar evolutionary traits, and the exact same bio-active component, as Manuka honey.
These unique plants occur in limited regions of the Banksia Woodlands areas in Western Australia, which are a declared Threatened Ecological Community. While not an endangered species themselves, these plants rarely grow in sufficient quantities to produce honey.
The honey is carefully harvested and extracted from our hives using a proprietary technique to obtain the purest quality of the Scholtzia involucrata honey. This has been developed by our Head Drone based on over a decade of peer-reviewed research into production of bio-active honey products.
